Black Veil Brides

Okay, are you ready for this american rock, hard core, glam metal band?! Black Veil Brides was formed in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States in 2006. Andy Biersack(lead singer) started the band originally. He started a new band and signed over to Standby Records and the band started there first us tour called "On Leather Wings". Band members, Ashely Purdy(bass and background singer), Jake Pitts(lead guitarist), Jinxx(rythem guitarist and violin), and finally Christian "CC" Coma(drums) were officially the members of Black Veil Brides. The band is known as the modern KISS, with the crazy black make-up and body painting and tight clothing, Many people have said about the band that's exactly what the rock industry hasn't had in along time. The band came out with there first album called, "We Stitch These Wounds", on July,20, 2010 and over more than 10,000 copies of the album were sold within just the first week it was released. The chief of Hot Topic started selling t-shirts of Black Veil Brides, attracting the young and helping business and the band. "Set The World On Fire" was there second full on album that was released on June, 14,2011. There top single on the album "Fallen Angels" came out late in April after the album was released. "Legacy" was there second songle off there album and the single and music video was released on June,6,2011. "Rebel Love Song" was the third single off there album and the video and single came out on October, 19,2011. Lead singer Andy and made a special announcement that there EP "Rebels" was on it's way out on December, 13,2011. The band started working on there third full album, "The Wretched and The Divine: The story of the wild ones" and will be coming out soon. In an interview, they had said the band is always writing fresh new things for the band. They started recording there album in April, 2012. There album was released on October, 30, 2012-January, 2013.  There hit single off that album was "In the end" and the album was a huge hit. Black Veil Brides has had and still do have great fresh new thing's in store for us and there career. Black Veil Brides, we are here in the beginning to end.

PERSONAL OPINION

Black Veil Brides is honestly on my top 3 list for best bands. There music speaks to me, there music makes me feel like I have nothing to fear, and I like how they are using rebel ideas for there albums. There music keeps getting better and better and there going to be around for quit sometime. Crown The Empire

Are you ready for the young and the bad-ass?! Post-hard core band Crown The Empire was formed in Dallas, Texas, USA on July, 10th, 2010. How did the band originally form? Well original band members, Andrew Velasquaz, Austin Duncan, Hayden Tree, and Brandon Hoover had first created the band together in high school (Colleyville Heritage High school). The idea of the band being formed was by Brandon and Austin when they started to play music together. They wanted to reach there goal for being a heavier band then most bands out there and reach the top of the music charts. Alex Massey was the original drummer in the band, but soon replaced in 2011 by Brent Iaddie. Crown The Empire was on the hunt for a lead guitarist for the band and then soon discovered Bennet Vogelman A.K.A Benn Suede. During the of 2011, the band decided to work on there EP Limitless and on November, 29th, 2011 it was released.

The EP wen overly well, they also showed the behind the scene shot for there hit single "Voices" for teasers for there fans. The music video for voices came out on December, 11th, 2011. Crown The Empire were on there way to fame. The band released there music video for there single from there "Limitless EP", "Wake me up" in acoustic on December, 31st, 2011. Later on the year, Crown The Empire made an announcement that they were doing there first tour ever with A Skylit Drive from March 3rd to March 7th.

Later on during the year, producers for Crown The Empire had made a teaser comment on Facebook that a new album would be coming out soon, and the hint was the band is from Texas. The band had signed over to Rise Records that year before they started there new official album. They had announced that they signed over to them and are officially working on there new album on March, 23rd, 2012. They released there single, "Makeshift Chemistry" of there album "Fallout". Five days before the album was even in stores, the band streamed there entire album online.

Crown The Empire had announced on November, 28th, 2013 that they would be going back to the recording studios to start working on there new album coming out in 2014. Initiation was there for single released of there new album on June, 19th, 2014. There new album "The Resistance: Rise of the Runaways" was finally released on July, 22nd, 2014. To think that a high school band had turned into something so great and original and creative shows if you work hard enough and have faith, you can accomplish anything in the music industry and life.

PERSONAL OPINION


Crown The Empire, is absolutely on my list for three favorite top bands, and I can't tell you how there songs can relate to a lot of peoples feeling's. They speak to others including me and there music is just my taste. Crown the Empire has it's metal, rock, and hard-core grunge all thrown in music and there adored by there fans all over the world. If you haven't checked them out, I suggest you stop what your doing and go listen to them! They won't disappoint you.

The Pretty Reckless

All right my rock peers, here is the first band I want to introduce you to. The Pretty Reckless are a hard-core grunge band band that formed in New York, USA. This band had started little and is currently working there way up to the charts, The Pretty Reckless speaks to the youth of rock n roll and they express three opinions and expressions threw there music. The members of the band are Taylor Momsen (lead singer), Ben Phillips(lead guitarist and background vocalist), Mark Damon(bass), and Jamie Perkins(drums). Taylor Momsen use to be involved with modeling, acting, and did do music when she was younger. Taylor Momsen was on CW TV series, Gossip Girl as "Jenny Humphrey" and was in How the Grinch stole Christmas as "Cindy Lu Who". Taylor loved acting and modeling, but she had said in an interview that she did love to act but wanted to focus on music. Taylor had said, "music is more personal because you are writing it and your involved in every step of the way". Taylor loved music more because she said when your acting your playing another person, and she wanted to be her own person. Taylor met up with rock producer, Khandwala, and had had introduced to her to current guitar player, Ben Phillips. The two of them co-write songs together for the band and at the time, they had a line up for new members. The old members of the band were, John Secolo, Matt Chiarelli, and Nick Carbone. The three of them had played for a year with Momsen and Phillips, and in 2010 new members, Mark Damon and Jamie Perkins(present members) joined The Pretty Reckless and replaced John, Matt, and Nick. The Annex in New York was there first performance, May, 5th, 2009 (Mark and Jamie weren't in the band the first performance for New York.) The Pretty Reckless had recorded and released there first single "Make me wanna die" on December, 30th, 2009. Taylor, Ben, Mark, and Jamie's career just opened many doors for the band.


The Pretty Reckless had released there first ever EP on June, 22nd, 2010, and there second single "Miss Nothing" was released on August, 9th, 2010.Miss Nothing music video was premiered on July, 22nd, 2010.


 The Pretty Reckless had finally came out with there first album, "Light me up" on August, 31st, 2010.The band had toured with Wraped Tours and have been opening acts for many bands. A couple years later they started working on there second album, "Going to Hell". The band released there first single, "Going to Hell", off there album on September, 19th, 2013. Going to Hell music video was then released a month later, October, 16th, 2013. They then decided to release a second single, "Heaven knows" on November, 19th, 2013, and then there music video preimerd on February, 13th, 2014. Going to Hell was finally released on iTunes and in stores on March, 18th, 2014. The day the single, "Going to Hell" released they also announced that they would be doing a Going to Hell 2013-2014 Tour. They performed eighty shows on there tour. The Pretty Reckless speaks to the youth, speaks in music, they express the truth, and will express rock n roll threw out the world.

PERSONAL OPINION 

The Pretty Reckless is one of my favorite rock n roll bands of all time and I found out about them from one of my best friends and instantly I fell in love with them. I went to there Going to Hell tour in 2014 and it was probably the best concert I went to, out of a lot of concerts. They speak to me threw music language and o the rest of the youth of rock n roll. I am proud to say I am a TPR fan and will be till the day I die. Check out there top singles on iTunes and get hooked!
